Wastewater tank floating cover

In the petrochemical and wastewater treatment industries, wastewater tanks and treatment ponds are important sources of fugitive VOC emissions. To meet increasingly stringent environmental regulations, effective sealing and coverage of open liquid surfaces in VOC-containing wastewater storage and treatment facilities has become an established industry practice.
With the widespread application of internal floating roofs in the chemical, refining, and petrochemical industries, related floating roof design, fabrication, and installation technologies can also be applied to floating covers for process and wastewater tanks.
The floating cover design, materials, sealing, fabrication, and installation are based on 15 applicable standards. Key design considerations include the strength, stiffness, overall stability, sealing performance, and load-bearing capacity of the aluminum structure, primarily in accordance with standards such as GB 50341 and HG/T 3194.
The floating cover mainly consists of a fully welded honeycomb floating deck, circumferential sealing system, and tank-wall protective panels, with primary materials including aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and sealing materials.
On-site 3D surveying is required to ensure that the fully welded honeycomb floating deck can move vertically along the tank-wall protective panels during operation.
